My senior team this year never failed to impress me with their tenacity, drive, and passion. They have all been so incredible to work with, and this young woman is no exception! Caroline hails from Brentsville District High School, and just graduated this past Saturday!  Congrats to the Class of 2017!  She is a strong and wonderful student, as well as an amazing athlete. She plays Varsity Soccer, and her team just won the 3A East Regional Championship and made it to States! Caroline enjoys her history class at school, and says that what she loves most about where she lives is the strong athletic programs available to the community.

“I’d describe myself as funny, weird, and kind”, she told me, “I hope that in twenty years, I am remembered as being kind to everyone I was around.” With her friendly and outgoing spirit, I was intrigued to know what she would be doing after high school, and she explains, “I am going to be attending University of Mary Washington, and I hope to  study the minds of criminals. I plan on earning my Bachelor of Liberal Studies in Criminal Justice at UMW.” Wow, what ambitions, and what an unique career field. She adds that her grandma has really inspired her to want to make a difference, and that she looks up to her for taking care of her family and everyone around her. Lastly, she said she is sad her senior team experience is coming to an end, and adds, “I will miss our little team get-togethers, and joking around. I loved working with Shannon!"
