Oh my goodness, what an honor. Class of 2018, I am completely humbled and honored that you chose me to be part of your senior year. I have said it before, and say it again now, I am so blessed to be able to do what I do. Not everyone gets the chance to meet amazing seniors and teens, or to play a special role in their lives as an encourager and their biggest fan. I get to use my artistry and creativity to give seniors confidence and joy, and help them capture the parts of them that make them so incredibly special. Photography is simply my tool that I can use to ignite passion in both myself, and my clients. So, when I came up with a way to give BACK, I was on board. Thus, the Twelfth+Grace Senior Team Scholarship Award was born.

Education is something I am very passionate about, and a scholarship is a natural way to invest in someone's future. This scholarships is exclusive to my senior team members, and although I always wish I could give one to all of them, I am super proud that I can award this to one amazing young woman. This is our second year, so I select a three person scholarship panel to review the team applications (usually this panel is filled with community members like teachers or church members).  The application consists of five essay questions and the panel reviews each application (name is removed) and scores based on a specific rubric for spelling and grammar, content and judges choice.

This year, Twelfth+Grace awarded one $500 College Scholarship [to be applied towards school - either towards tuition, books, dorm items, etc]

The Class of 2018 recipient was JULIA from Brentsville High School! Congratulations, Julia. You can see her senior session HERE! She's a bright and beautiful young lady, who is headed to NOVA Community, and who is always ready to help someone. I couldn't be more thrilled to help her start her future.
